TWB: The Mermaid Mask

Transport yourself to the magical islands of Hawaii with each and every application of this luscious honey-based mask, it transforms skin with potent superfood goodness and is such a treat to use that we just can’t get enough…

You may not have heard of Leahlani Skincare before today, but that’s okay because this little hidden Hawaiian treasure is about to be the next big thing.

The Mermaid Mask (aptly named because the mask is green!) is designed to rejuvenate and heal skin with a blend of Hawaiian raw honey, Hawaiian spirulina, chlorella, sea buckthorn fruit oil, blue chamomile and many more. It almost sounds like the recipe for one of our morning smoothies…
We can vouch that the mask leaves skin feeling absolutely incredible, so soft and glowing with health – its a mid-week staple! The tropical scent is one we look forward to each week and we admit we do feel a little mermaid-like after use.
The mask doesn’t dry on the skin, thanks to the high content of honey, but we like to leave it on for about 20-30 minutes to really let the superfood goodness get to work. To remove, just add water and massage skin to increase circulation and lightly exfoliate before rinsing away.

Spirulina and luminous algae work to increase cellular turnover whilst being packed with antioxidants and amino acids to keep skin youthful and bright, perfect for skin that is ageing, acne-prone, dry or suffering from uneven tone. Combined with our favourite skincare ingredient, honey (to heal, soothe and moisturise), it’s a match made in heaven.

Sea buckthorn fruit oil is in incredibly high in vitamins A, C and E and is great at healing scarring and acne. Combined with roman chamomile and blue chamomile, vanilla absolute, rose and geranium for skin that is calm and ready to take on the world once again. We see ourselves channeling the mermaid vibes forever more thanks to this gorgeous skincare treatment!

Will you be trying the mermaid mask?

YE, YES AND YES – I was only two sentences in before I knew I had to try this mask out. Ticks all the boxes for what I need and am looking for in a product, especially as it’s on the natural side

I recently ordered this mask from the Etsy shop and feel that UK buyers should be aware of the import taxes of £20 I was charged before I could receive it, just keep it in mind as it made it not such a cheap mask after all :-(

Wow that’s a real shame. I recently discovered this product and added it to my list of things to buy. That’s quite off putting though!
