It wouldn’t be January if we didn’t start our yearly health kick along with the rest of the population, and 2015 sees the usual flurry of cookbooks and diet fads hit the shelves once again. One long awaited release has been on our radar for sometime however, and we are excited to finally get our hands on Ella Woodward’s first cookbook, Deliciously Ella. We’ve been addicted to her blog and Instagram account for months, and have been dying to try out her book which is full of sugar-free, dairy-free and gluten-free recipes. We’re ready to forget calorie counting and instead embrace positive eating with bowls of colourful, satisfying and wholesome food!
If you’re trying to get active in January, then forget the Saturday morning lie in and take up a new pastime in the form of your local Parkrun. Simply register online at www.parkrun.org.uk and find out your nearest event before you show up. The timed run is only 5km in length and is suitable for all ages and abilities and will give you an opportunity to improve your race time every time you attend.
