Beauty meets fashion in this latest too-pretty-to-miss collaboration between NEUTROGENA VISIBLY CLEAR® and Danielle Romeril; a budding designer showcasing her work at London Fashion Week this season.

Two staple products from the zesty NEUTROGENA VISIBLY CLEAR® Pink Grapefruit range have had a bold makeover just in time for the catwalks, and we’re keen to share with you the bright design. Danielle’s masterpiece is something you’re going to want to have on display; the mesmerising print is inspired by Memphis, an ’80s Italian design movement that combined bold hues with surreal designs. The camouflage print is something that features regularly in Danielle’s incredible womenswear collections.

The NEUTROGENA VISIBLY CLEAR® Pink Grapefruit Range is a spot-fighting, skin-cleansing line of affordable picks, aimed at those with troublesome or oily complexions. Of course, we managed to chat to Danielle, the face behind the design, about her latest collab and her passion for the design – and we asked all the important questions…

Your design for the delicious NEUTROGENA VISIBLY CLEAR® Pink Grapefruit packaging is very bold – has this inspired a more colourful take on your future fashion collections?
I had so much fun designing this, I was looking at an Italian design movement from the 1980’s called Memphis, I was inspired by the product itself, the liquidity and beautiful pink hue and I thought about the sort of work I love to do – innovative surface details. Working on this definitely influenced the colour palette in my upcoming collection that I will show at London Fashion Week in September. Watch this space!

This is such an exciting collaboration – did you ever imagine you would be working with a skincare brand?
It was not something I had ever thought about before but then this opportunity came up and it was such a perfect match for my brand and it’s aesthetics of cool, youthful and clean.   I am a firm believer in beauty without artifice- all the models at my shows have a relaxed nonchalant femininity. The make -up is almost not there, it is about letting the natural beauty shine out! I have always used and liked NEUTROGENA® and VISIBLY CLEAR® products and what the NEUTROGENA® brand stands for. And I get to create something that will sit in tens of thousands of women’s bathrooms- it was a no brainer!

Is your own daily skincare routine something to be proud of, or are you quite a minimalist when it comes to beauty?
I think a minimalist skincare routine is something to be proud of! I take off any makeup, cleanse my face with a wash and moisturise. I stay out of the sun, drink water and look after my skin, I don’t believe in thousands of products – a few key ones will look after your skin.

    i actually use the classic orange version of this and it is such a skin saver! I’ll have to look out for this one though, as that funky 80s print would be such a lovely addition to any bathroom shelf!
