Fresh Candles Fit For Spring

spring4
Who says flickering candles are only good for winter? With this lot, you can have all the cosiness of a burning candle, with a gorgeous floral fragrance, throughout the warmer months too…

JO MALONE WHITE LILAC & RHUBARB CHARITY CANDLE, £42
British brand Jo Malone are always first on our list for heavenly home fragrances, and their Spring launch is just one of the many reasons why we’re continuously falling for their incredible releases.
The White Lilac & Rhubarb mash-up is entirely uplifting and delicate, filling the room with a tranquil scent that is almost Spring bottled up. The floral and fruity mix transforms the air on even the dullest of days.
What’s more, the brand have released this as a charity candle – meaning they’re donating the full retail price to support the upkeep of a number of gardens around the country, all of which are partnered with charities to help those in need learn new skills and find a sense of peace and fulfilment. A gorgeous candle and a great cause!

DIPTYQUE VETYVER SCENTED CANDLE, £40
This is the perfect transitional candle as it seems to fit with the seasons; the woody concoction seems muskier in the wintery months and fresh and floral come spring and summer.
The incredible warm scent is a favourite with the Nouvelle team – the strong notes are really thrown when the candle is lit, and you can even pick up the fragrance when the candle isn’t burning.
A must have for all candle fans, and the jars can be reused as brush or trinket holders once you’re done.

THE WHITE COMPANY SEA SALT CANDLE, £30
Another dreamy home fragrance, The White Company’s contribution reminds us of summer holiday’s on the coast, of fresh, salty air and windswept days.
This is a home candle with a difference, as it’s fresh and lush, but not entirely floral or fruity. It’s in a league of it’s own, and it seems to keep the scent in the air for days at a time.
It also seems to compliment other fragrances nicely too, so perfect alongside bouquets of fresh flowers or other scents burning in the room.

TED BAKER MIAMI SCENTED CANDLE, £28
Perfectly packaged and a little bit mysterious with its ‘Miami’ fragrance, this Ted Baker release has got our attention. The mix of star apple and passionfruit makes this is a sultry yet fruity combo, something that will create an uplifting atmosphere when lit – transforming you to sunnier climates in an instant.
The packaging is perfect, we can imagine this would have a place on our mantlepiece all year round!

A Sea Salt candle sounds positively dreamy. I’ve had the Ted Baker candle in Tokyo for weeks now, burning it for hours at a time, and it just lasts and lasts. Worth the money for that one!

I was at a quaint little shop in the country the other day, and was obsessing over all the spring smelling candles. All the sea side, pink lemonade scented candles were making me so excited about summer!
