DIY Bath Milk Tea Bags

These little bath tea bags make lovely gifts for your girlfriends, wedding favours for the bridesmaids or even just as a budget bath treat for yourself…

You Will Need:

  • Oats
  • Little canvas or organza bags

  • Essential oils
  • Bath salts
  • Flower petals etc.

Perhaps the easiest of all DIY’s, so easy it barely needs an explanation. Fill a little bag with oats, relaxing essential oils and salts if you fancy, and you’re good to go.
If you don’t have any little bags hanging around (usually from jewellery purchases or what you find samples in when you’ve been buying one too many beauty products online), you can simply use a muslin face cloth and a hair tie. Pile your oats and other ingredients in to the middle and gather the cloth up around it before securing with a hair tie. Easy!

Place your tea bag into the bath and let it infuse and turn the water creamy – giving it a squeeze every now and again.

Once you’re done with your teabag you can empty the contents into the bin (no more blocked plug hole, yes!) and let it dry until next time.

You could also add in some magnesium flakes, known for their skin-healing properties – these will to calm and clear up acne, psoriasis and eczema, while also soothing tired and aching limbs. Just a scoopful in your bath bags will have you feeling super relaxed in no time.
Will you be trying these?
