TWB: Beauty Loyalty Cards

Store loyalty cards are a great way to make the most of your beauty sprees. Points are collected from each and every shopping trip, and these points can be spent in store when you have banked enough. Here’s the lowdown of the best reward schemes…

Boots Advantage Card
We remember getting one of these in our teens and feeling incredibly grown up, and even now we won’t let the familiar card out of our sight. This is often hailed as the best loyalty card, as the brand offer 4 points for every £1 you spend, which means your points soon mount up without you even thinking about it. Each point equates to one penny, so as soon as you hit 1000 points, you have £10 to spend in store.
You can spend your points on just about anything in store, but you do need to have the correct amount as there’s no option to part-pay with points and cash.
The store allow you to validate receipts, so if family members really don’t care for the system but spend a good amount in store, you can take in their reciept to collect the points.
There are other perks to having an Advantage Card; in store you will see a points machine tucked away – with your card you can check to see daily deals, such as ‘250 extra points when you spend £20′ or products with money off.
There’s also regular events where you can get double points, so be sure to look out for those if you’re feeling spendy.

Space NK N.dulge Card
Even Space NK has their own loyalty programme, and it’s one you’re going to want to get to know. The brand offer one point for every £1 you spend, which doesn’t sound like a lot but once you have banked 100 points, you get £5 off your next shop.
As we usually rack up quite the total during a Space NK visit, reaching that £5 N.centive seems to happen often. With the card, you also get complimentary samples with each trip, invitations to in-store events and so much more.
If you’re a Space NK obsessive and happen to spend £1000 in store in a year (easily done if you ask us), you automatically move up to the next level; N.Dulge De Luxe.
Each time you collect your 100 points when you have an N.Dulge De Luxe account, you get a £10 N.entive. Pretty good going, right?

Debenhams Beauty Club Card
Joining the Debenhams Beauty Club has some serious perks; while this reward’s programme does allow you to collect points on beauty purchases to spend in store, you also receive the VIP treatment throughout the beauty hall.
Expect free samples and makeovers on your favourite counters, exclusive beauty news and invitations and even a free Benefit Brow Wax on your birthday!
The store also offer free delivery when you use your Beauty Club card online and there’s a chance to earn bonus points all the time. It’s one of the most worthwhile systems we’ve come across, purely for all the beauty extras you receive in store.
The brand have also just taken everything digital, so you can download the app and use that to earn points each time you spend – brilliant.

The Body Shop Love Your Body Card
If you’re forever browsing the aisles of The Body Shop, we suggest signing up to their impressive membership scheme. This differs from the other clubs as you actually pay to be involved; membership for one year costs £5, but with this you get 10% off all year round and access to exclusive offers and deals. As it’s already pretty affordable in there, having a 10% discount really gets us spending so it’s well worth it if you buy a lot from The Body Shop.
What’s more, the brand are regularly offering deals to their members; for example right now you can get 50% off their body mists with your Love Your Body card!
The Body Shop will also give you a little treat on your birthday – how can we say no?

Superdrug Beautycard
Of course, Superdrug now offer their own loyalty scheme too. It’s not unlike your usual rewards system; you earn points for every purchase made either in-store or online.
The beauty of this card is that, while 100 points equal £1 to spend, you can use your points balance to take it off the price so you don’t need to have the full balance of what you’re buying. Even those few saved-up £’s make a difference when you’re buying your beauty products regularly.
While the card itself looks a little tacky (sorry Superdrug) the system feels very generous and it’s worth having if you regularly stock up on the essentials in store.

House Of Fraser Recognition
You may have heard of the Recognition scheme that House Of Fraser offer, which allows you to turn every penny you spend in the store in to a reward.
The brand offer the standard 1 point for every £1 spent, but with this card you can spend and earn throughout the entire store! Just 500 points are needed and you have yourself a nice £5 Reward. You can split the cost of your item, paying with cash, card and your Rewards and it’s possible to collect points from online purchases and spend your Rewards while you’re at it.
The brand also offer so many other perks, from bonus points in your birthday month to exclusive in-store event invitations.
Time to sign up, if you haven’t already!

With so many loyalty cards, it’s no wonder we’re forever eyeing the beauty aisles.
